The show, entitled Native Harmonies, will headline two-time Grammy Award winner and NÂsband Fabian Fontenelle, Native blues artist Tracy Lee Nelson, World Champion Hoop Dancer Lowery Begay, and Native-American dancers from around the country.
Native Harmonies is produced by Xavier and Gabrielle Canale, owners of Raindance, who have been featuring Native-American performers at their store and at the Boardwalk Theater in Shoreline Village for the past couple of years.
“We started noticing a genuine appreciation for the talent and beauty of Native-American performers by the public,” Xavier Canale said. “We wanted to give them a broader stage and audience for which to perform to bring Native-American culture on the front and center of the American culture, where it belongs.”
Native Harmonies will be emceed by its artistic director Mac Lopez, who’s also the owner of Whirlwind Studio. Lopez is a flautist, flute maker and Native-American music-event producer, having produced and directed seven such shows for the Kumeyaay-Ipai Interpretive Center in Poway.

The event will include Native-American food from Chef Paul Buchanan of Primal Alchemy along with the live musical performances.
VIP tickets will provide access to a special reception for a meet-and-greet with some of the performers and guests. The dining room will open at 4pm for food, drinks, Native-American art and crafts and live music, and then again immediately after the show until midnight for the post-show reception.
The show itself will start at 6pm and end around 10pm.
