UPDATE: Chanty Sarin was found safe and unharmed in a hospital area on Dec. 27, 2023.
Police sought the public’s assistance Tuesday in locating a 43-year-old woman last seen in Long Beach.
According to Long Beach police, Chanty Sarin was last seen Christmas morning at her residence in the 4000 block of Blackthome Avenue.
Police said she suffers from mental issues and medical complications. Officials described her as a 5-foot-4 Asian woman, weighing about 300 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green jacket, black hoodie and black tights.
