The Signal Hill Community Services Department will host a Spring Fest at Signal Hill Park, 2175 Cherry Ave., from 9am to noon on Saturday, April 23.
Free activities will include egg hunts for children ages 3 to 10 and a bunny trail for toddlers. The Signal Hill Police Department will issue child-identification cards, the Los Angeles Fire Department Station 60 will have its fire truck on display, and activities will be provided by the Signal Hill Library. A wristband for $1 will allow children access to additional activities including: train rides, crafts, games, and bounce houses.
The egg hunt schedule will be: 10am— ages 3 to 5; 10:30am— ages 6 to 8; and 11am— ages 9 to 10. Each child must bring his or her own basket or bag to gather eggs. Families are encouraged to bring a camera for a picture with the bunny.
