Metro A Line pauses service from PCH to downtown LB for repairs

Service on the Metro A Line South from the Pacific Coast Highway station through downtown Long Beach is suspended Tuesday to repair power cables.

Bus shuttles are being provided by Metro between Willow Station through downtown Long Beach, to Pacific Coast Highway, Anaheim, 5th Street, 1st Street, downtown Long Beach and Pacific Stations.

A Line, also known as the Blue Line, service is operating from Willow Station to Azusa Pacific University Station. Train service to Azusa Pacific and bus shuttle service will continue until repairs to the power cables are complete. Repairs are expected to take most of Tuesday to complete.

There are announcements being made onboard trains and at station platforms to alert passengers of the repairs and service suspensions.

Metro personnel are also available at stations to assist passengers.
