Long Beach police are seeking to determine if three robberies at pharmacies in about 8 1/2 hours were related.
Around 10:50 a.m. Monday, four male suspects approached a delivery truck driver preparing to unload a shipment of prescription drugs at a pharmacy in the 3500 block of Atlantic Avenue, between 36th Street and Wardlow Road, and told the driver not to move, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The victim complied out of fear for their safety, and the suspects proceeded to enter the truck to steal prescription drugs before fleeing in a white sedan. Police said no weapons were used during the robbery.
Shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, two male suspects jumped over a counter of a pharmacy in the 2300 block of East Pacific Coast Highway, between Cherry and Junipero avenues, and stole prescription drugs before leaving in a dark-colored sedan, police said.
Two male suspects jumped over a counter of a pharmacy in the 6000 block of Atlantic Avenue, near 60th Street, stole prescription drugs, then ran away from the store, police said.
No weapon was used or seen during the robbery.
