The City of Long Beach is asking residents to provide feedback for its upcoming Celebration of the Young Child, taking place in April at the Billie Jean King Main Library and Lincoln Park.
The Health Department’s Early Childhood Strategic Initiatives Program is collecting input from the public through an online survey, available until Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, to ensure the event best supports the development of children up to 8 years old.
The Celebration of the Young Child features entertainment, activities and a resource fair for families and caregivers. Children will have the opportunity to engage in sensory activities, age-appropriate games and interactive play.
This annual event is organized by the Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services (Health Department), the Long Beach Public Library and the Mayor’s Fund for Long Beach.
