On Sunday, Aug. 28 at 10am, Float Serve Volleyball (FSV) will feature a grass doubles volleyball tournament in Long Beach at Marina Vista Park, 5355 E. Eliot St.
The volleyball tournament will offer Men’s 2s, Women’s 2s, Regular Co-ed 2s, and Reverse Co-ed 2s with “A” and “B” divisions for each. Cost is only $40 per team. FSV membership is not required for the remainder of the 2011 season. There will be free pizza at noon and free bottled water provided throughout the day. There is plenty of free parking and shade from trees to cool down between games.
Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three matches (six games or sets) during pool play, plus single elimination playoffs. Prizes will be awarded to the first- and second-place teams of each division.
