Tuesday, Aug. 16
Burglary
1:30am— 1000 block of E. Carson St.
Officers responded to a residential burglary, secured the location and found that several items had been stolen.
Homicide
11:30pm— Pacific Coast Hwy. and Linden Ave.
Officers responded to a “shots” call and found a man lying in the street after he had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body. Paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department attended to the victim, but he was determined to be deceased at the scene.
Thursday, Aug. 18
Felony arrest
4am— 2800 block of Atlantic Ave.
An adult male suspect attacked another adult male following a verbal argument. The suspect fled from the area in his vehicle. Patrol officers quickly responded and detained the suspect a short distance away. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.

2:30pm— 2500 block of Long Beach Blvd.
Officers investigating a street robbery successfully located the adult suspect outside of a local restaurant. Officers took the robbery suspect into custody without incident.

8:30pm— 1800 block of Pacific Ave.
An adult male suspect approached an adult female victim on the street and physically assaulted her. The suspect proceeded to steal the victim’s property. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries to her upper body and did not require medical attention.

2pm— 28th St. and Eucalyptus Ave.
An adult male suspect robbed a female victim at knifepoint. The suspect fled with the loss, and the victim was not injured.

Assault
8:30pm— 2000 block of Pine Ave.
Officers responded to the scene of a shooting and located an adult male victim who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower body. He was transported to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Officers responded to the scene of a shooting and located an adult male victim. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
