Residents of 52nd Assembly District invited to join ‘healthy families’ discussion, receive free turkey

Assemblymember Isadore Hall, III is inviting residents of the 52nd District to the Annual Healthy Families Update, where they can participate in a discussion of the Healthy Families Program and receive a free Thanksgiving turkey. More than 900 turkeys were provided to residents of the 52nd Assembly District last year.
The event will take place Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 10am to 1pm at Compton City Hall, 205 S. Willowbrook Ave., in Compton.
Reservations are not required, but turkeys will be given away on a “first come, first served” basis. Residents must show proof of residence in the 52nd Assembly District to receive a turkey.
