The Long Beach Playhouse, 5021 E. Anaheim St., will conduct youth theatre mini workshops for children in grades three through 12 this winter. The “Play at the Playhouse” mini-workshops will provide a fundamental understanding of what goes into a stage performance. The first workshop was offered Dec. 3. Three more will follow, from 4pm to 7pm, on: Tuesday, Dec. 13; Tuesday, Dec. 20; and Friday, Dec. 30. The fee is $35 per class or a four-class package for $120.
