Local seniors can learn the ins and outs of Medicare plans through a series of in-person and virtual meetings before the upcoming enrollment deadline on Dec. 7.

Residents already enrolled in Medicare have until March 31, 2026 to enroll for the following year. Certain situations will qualify for a Special Enrollment Period. Learn more on Medicare’s website

Long Beach’s MemorialCare will host a licensed agent to teach residents about this year’s changes to 2026 Medicare Advantage Plans and options available to them. These changes will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2026.

While no commitment is required, applications will be available for those ready to enroll. To RSVP for one of the following sessions, contact Karla Ramirez via email at KRamirez3@memorialcare.org or phone at 562-933-1736.
