Long Beach children and families can enjoy an egg hunt, Easter Bunny pictures, crafts and more during the City’s Spring Fest at Lincoln Park on March 28.

Hosted by the Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) and the Long Beach Public Library, this free event downtown is friendly for all ages. There will be two age-designated egg hunts; ages 3-6 at 11:30 a.m. and ages 7-12 at 12:30 p.m. Children ages 2 and under can also take part in a bunny trail, and all children and families can take pictures with the Easter Bunny.

“Our Spring Fest is a great opportunity to hop into spring and enjoy everything the season has to offer,” said Mayor Rex Richardson in a public statement. “Events like this reflect our ongoing commitment to providing accessible, family-friendly events for our community to come together, build lasting memories and enjoy a day at one of our beautiful Long Beach parks.”

Youth can also create flower planter souvenirs and spring-themed pipe cleaner mementos to take home, as well as partake in face-painting, group games and a cupcake walk at 1:30 p.m. All visitors will be able to enter free raffles to win prizes and can enjoy light refreshments.

To participate in activities, visitors must check in to receive a bracelet. Participation in the egg hunts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Complimentary parking will be available throughout the duration of the event in the Civic Center Parking Garage (332 W. Broadway) for Spring Fest attendees.

Long Beach’s Spring Fest will take place Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lincoln Park (101 Pacific Ave.).
