Pacific Community Credit Union has extended the deadline for its scholarship program that will provide funds to both graduating high school seniors as well as students who are currently enrolled at a college, university or trade school. Every year two applicants will receive a $750 stipend each based on academic standing, community service, a letter of recommendation and an essay regarding the significance of financial security and knowledge, and how the students are able to meet their financial goals. This year’s scholarship applications are due on February 15. Winners will be announced at the Pacific Community annual meeting in March.
