Bring a beach chair and blanket; the City of Signal Hill will again host its annual summer concert series on Wednesday evenings in July and August at Signal Hill Park, 2175 Cherry Ave. The event will also feature food vendors, including Baja Sonora, Kashiwa Restaurant, Cruisin’ Juice, Nolin Roaster Corn, Coda’s Kettle Korn and Rossmoor Pastries. Classic rock ‘n’ roll group The Trip will perform July 11, followed by jazz-and-blues band the Blue Breeze Band on July 18 and Journey tribute band DSB on July 25. The Eagles tribute band Desperado will perform on Aug. 8, followed by U2 tribute band L.A.vation on Aug. 8 and The Beatles tribute band The Silver Beatles on Aug. 15.
