Sixth District Councilman Dee Andrews has announced the release and distribution of the 6th District ‘Midtown Gives Back’ Resource Guide to Long Beach residents.
The guide is a compilation of the numerous facilities, nonprofit organizations and free services located within the 6th district. It includes information about education and employment opportunities, fully inclusive health and medical facilities, legal and civil services, local markets, neighborhood associations, pharmacies, places of worship, recreational sites, and facilities that cater for seniors and youth.
“As a dedicated contributor of the resource guide, I know that it will spread awareness throughout the community, especially to those that are in need of the free services that are offered,” Andrews said. “My hope is that this will continue to enhance the lives of everyone in the 6th district.”
