More Info October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and two of Long Beach’s community landmarks have joined forces to remember those lost and support those still fighting. Patrons that valet-park their vehicle at the Pike during the month of October will have a chance to sign their name, or a loved one’s name, on a cancer awareness poster and can give back to the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Memorial. All proceeds raised during the Pike’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign will benefit research programs at the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute.
