I recently received a message in the mail from my darling Aunt Jeraldine.
The Post-It note attached to the message said the following: “Neena Dear, Thought you might be able to use this near the New Year. Hope it’s a good one (year) for all of you.” It was signed simply with the initials JS (for Jeraldine Saunders).
The actual message was titled “Attitudes For 2013″ and contained a list of 10 lines. I pondered over the list and tried to figure how I could use it in my column. Below I have written out Jeraldine’s words in italics and added a few words of my own to make it more of a New Year’s poem collaboration. Enjoy the message from Aunt Jerry and me!
