Signal Hill residents and business owners who “think green” and want to impact their community are encouraged to apply to be a member of the Sustainable City Committee.
The City of Signal Hill is going green and seeks three community volunteer leaders to join its new Sustainable City Committee. This committee will advise the City Council on environmental issues and policy and be charged with creating and implementing a Sustainable City Action Plan.
The committee will meet once a month on the first Tuesday at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 2175 Cherry Avenue, in Signal Hill.
Applications are available by calling (562) 989-7305 or pick up a packet in person at the City Clerk’s office. A brief biography or resume may be included along with a completed application and mail to: City of Signal Hill, 2175 Cherry Avenue, Signal Hill, CA 90755 Attn: City Clerk.
Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.
Candidates must be a resident or business owner in Signal Hill, at least 18 years of age, and a legal resident of California.
