Suja Lowenthal, candidate for California’s 70th Assembly District, has announced receiving the endorsement of Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project. Lowenthal will also host a campaign reception on Tuesday, May 27 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Michael’s on Naples Ristorante, 5620 E. 2nd St.

Steve Neal, candidate for the 64th Assembly District, has announced that he has received endorsements from: Evolve California, a progressive community organization; the Los Angeles News Group; the Southern California chapter of the Americans for Democratic Action; and the California Small Business Association.

John Goya, candidate for 70th State Assembly District, has announced that he has garnered the endorsement of the California Log Cabin Republicans.

Damon Dunn, candidate in the run-off election for Long Beach mayor, has announced receiving the following endorsements: the BizFed PAC, a project of the Los Angeles County Business Federation; 3rd District Long Beach Councilmember Gary DeLong; and 6th District Long Beach Councilmember Dee Andrews.

Robert Garcia, candidate in the run-off election for Long Beach mayor, has announced receiving the endorsements of Fourth District Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe and 70th District Assemblymember Bonnie Lowenthal.

Charles Parkin, candidate in the run-off election for Long Beach city attorney, has announced that he has garnered the endorsements of three Long Beach City Councilmembers-elect: Suzie Price, who has been elected to represent the 3rd district; Roberto Uranga, who will represent the 7th; and Rex Richardson, who will represent the 9th. Additionally, Doug Otto, who was a recent candidate for Long Beach mayor, issued an endorsement of Parkin for city attorney.

Lena Gonzales, candidate in the run-off for Long Beach City Council’s 1st district seat, has announced receiving the endorsements of 44th District U.S. Rep. Janice Hahn and 47th District U.S. Rep. Alan Lowenthal.
