Congressmember Lowenthal to host two events on Catalina for constituents

US Congressmember Alan Lowenthal, who represents the 47th District, is inviting the public to join him for two events on Catalina Island in early August.
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, Lowenthal will present a Washington, D.C. legislative update to the Avalon City Council. The presentation will be during the regular City Council meeting at 6pm at Avalon City Hall, 410 Avalon Canyon Rd.

Lowenthal will also host a “coffee and conversation” event on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 4:30pm at the Avalon Nature Center, 1202 Avalon Canyon Rd. He will provide a legislative update on the latest in Washington impacting residents of the 47th District and answer questions from attendees.
“Face-to-face meetings are one of the most direct ways for me to hear from my constituents,” Lowenthal said. “I look forward to seeing everyone who can join me at either the Avalon City Council on August 5 or at the Avalon Nature Center on August 6.”
