Former Long Beach Symphony pops conductor Michael Krajewski will return to the stage of the Long Beach Arena on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8pm in a concert that celebrates the world’s most famous spy. Entitled Bond and Beyond, the show will feature the iconic music and songs from over 50 years of James Bond movies, including From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Skyfall, plus tributes to other spies and detectives from around the world, such as Austin Powers, Dick Tracy, the Pink Panther and Mission: Impossible.
Krajewski is currently music director of The Philly Pops and principal pops conductor of the Houston, Atlanta and Jacksonville symphonies. Krajewski will be joined by Tony Award-winning vocalist
Debbie Gravitte.
The audience is welcome to bring food and beverages to enjoy the indoor picnic atmosphere or purchase them from Arena concessionaires or select local caterers.
New to this year’s pops concert series is a special section of bistro-style seating— an exclusive, more intimate, elevated seating area with four-top tables, a complimentary drink based on the evening’s musical theme and private bistro bartender service.
Doors will open for all seating sections at 6:30pm to allow time for dining and mingling.
“We’re delighted to welcome Michael Krajewski back to the Long Beach Symphony Pops for what promises to be a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable performance,” said Kelly Ruggirello, the symphony’s executive director. “We’re also grateful to our pops season sponsor, F&M Bank, and to Valero Energy for partially underwriting this particular concert.”
Arena seating starts at $21. To purchase tickets, call (562) 436-3203, ext. 232, or visit the symphony website at lbso.org .
