Construction has begun on the new commercial façades on the east side of the Bixby Knolls Shopping Center, the property owned by GASKA, Inc. at San Antonio Drive and Atlantic Avenue. A representative from GASKA has indicated that the work should take approximately six months to complete.
The existing businesses will remain open during construction.
This elevation drawing shows what the new façades will look like:
Weiland Brewery, soon to be Bixby Knolls’ newest restaurant, will be opening in early February. Located at 4354 Atlantic Ave., the restaurant will feature American food and beer.
The restaurant will not yet be serving but will be open for people to check out during February’s First Fridays [Art Walk].
Stay tuned for more economic-development announcements, including news about the former Ralphs property.
