Millikan High School senior Kara Stribling took home the Dramatic Allied Arts Guild Award (DAAG). The 4.47 GPA student has starred in numerous regional and school productions, including South Bay Conservatory’s production of Legally Blonde the Musical, as well as performances at Millikan and in the American Girl Revue in Los Angeles.
Long Beach resident Brianna Liddi received the John Bisom Award. A student at Orange County High School for the Arts, Liddi last year stepped onto the line as Maggie in A Chorus Line, directed by Broadway veteran Krysta Rodriguez. Among the 22 credits to her name, Liddi has starred as Sandy in Grease with Orange County Childrens Theatre and Belle in Beauty & the Beast with MYART.
Founded in 1999, the Footlighters is a nonprofit auxiliary organization created to support Musical Theatre West and its educational efforts.
