Historical society names new membership coordinator

The Historical Society of Long Beach this week added John Royce, president of the California Heights Neighborhood Association (CHNA), as its newest staff member.
Royce, who has volunteered with CHNA for 15 years, will serve as the historical society’s part-time membership coordinator.
Royce is a landscape designer and earned a bachelor’s in history from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
