The Long Beach Mayor’s Office and Molina Healthcare will host the Long Beach Health Care Symposium on Saturday, April 25 from 9am to 2pm at the Long Beach Convention Center.
“A healthy city is incredibly important to our overall success and growth,” said Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia. “Healthy families and workers move our economy; healthy schools and classrooms create environments where our kids can learn. More of our residents now have access to health care, and our hospitals and clinics are making exciting investments in their facilities and cutting-edge research.”
The symposium is open to all residents and healthcare professionals who are interested in public health and want to learn more about the changing local healthcare landscape. The event will feature educational health panels, and health-insurance information for small-business owners, as well as connect residents with key leaders from Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, St. Mary’s Medical Center and the Long Beach Health Department.
