Ticket prices for Friday-night shows at the Long Beach Playhouse, 5021 E. Anaheim St., for its 87th Mainstage season have lowered in price, from $24 to $20.
“We’re doing it for a couple of reasons,” said Andrew Vonderschmitt, playhouse executive and producing artistic director. “We often sell out on Saturday nights but have seats available for Friday.”
He also went on to say that the slight decrease in price might have more people in the community willing to attend the shows.
The season tickets are already on sale and are available beginning Aug. 15. Tickets can be purchased at lbplayhouse.org or by calling (562) 494-1014, option 1.
Performances are 8pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 2pm Sundays. The box office is open Wednesday through Saturday from 3pm to 8pm, and Sundays from 1pm to 2pm on scheduled matinees only.
