Eighth District field office moving

They will host a grand opening of the new field office during the First Fridays Art Walk on Oct. 2, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
The new office is located inside the Expo at the north end of the building.
The building in which the field office currently resides is now in escrow as part of a sale to developers of former redevelopment agency properties, according to Austin’s staff.
Staff will begin operating in the new office as of Monday, Oct. 5. The field office phone number— (562) 570-1326— will remain the same.
