The field office for the 8th Council District for Long Beach has moved from its former location at 5641 Atlantic Ave. to the Expo Arts Center at 4321 Atlantic Ave. as of Monday, Oct. 5, according to Councilmember Al Austin’s staff.
Staff hosted a grand opening of the new field office during the First Fridays Art Walk on Oct. 2. The new office is located inside the Expo at the north end of the building.
The building in which the field office formerly resided is now in escrow as part of a sale to developers of former redevelopment agency properties, according to Austin’s staff.
The field office phone number of (562) 570-1326 will remain the same.
