Eighth District Councilmember Al Austin is again partnering with more than 20 local businesses in the 8th District to collect toys for local families during the holiday season.
“I am very pleased to be continuing the tradition of partnering with local businesses for our fourth annual holiday toy drive,” Austin said. “The generosity of our community members over the past three years has brought a great deal of joy to local children and families. It is a great reminder of the true meaning of the holidays.”
Donations of new, unwrapped toys may be dropped off in the collection boxes at participating businesses through Dec. 15. The donated items will go to local families, according to Austin’s office.
