The 6th Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K/10K Turkey Trot Run/Walk will take place on Thursday, Nov. 27 at the Belmont Pool in Belmont Shore, two blocks east of the Belmont Pier.
More than 4,000 runners and walkers are expected. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Community Action Team. Event T-shirts will be given to all runners and walkers, as well as more than 350 holiday pies to random finishers.
There are different runs/walks and courses available for different ages and abilities, and the first race begins at 7:30 a.m. For more information, go to http://www.turkeytrot.us.
