The Bixby Knolls location of Trader Joe’s will be relocating on April 15. The current store at 4121 Atlantic Ave. will close Thursday, April 14, and the new location at the former Ralphs property at San Antonio Drive and Long Beach Boulevard is expected to open the next day.
“We are very excited to see some of the big things that have been in the works come to fruition,” said Blair Cohn, executive director of the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association. “Having Trader Joe’s move to their new location and seeing the entire retail center filled with new businesses is a huge win for the business district and for the community. This year in particular will show lots of great things come to fruition.”
