More Info The NOAA, 8th District Councilmember Al Austin’s office, the Arts Council for Long Beach and Bret Harte Elementary School are collaborating to officially unveil a mural in north Long Beach that aims to highlight the importance of healthy rivers and oceans to support all types of wildlife, including birds and other fish species. The mural is part of a West Coast campaign by the NOAA Fisheries West Coast Region to bring awareness to the topic of healthy watersheds for endangered fish, such as steelhead and salmon.
