Long Beach Shakespeare Company is celebrating Christmas in Camelot with Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, which features music performed live by the actors, swordfights, dragon slaying, comedy, romance and mystery. Who is the Green Knight and why does he crash King Arthur’s Christmas feast? Audiences can join the newly knighted Gawain on his quest to seek the answers in a show that’s appropriate for the whole family.
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight continues through Saturday, Dec. 20 at The Richard Goad Theatre, 4250 Atlantic Avenue, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm, with Sunday matinees at 2pm. Tickets are $20 general, $10 for students. Due to limited seating, reservations are recommended.
