Religious and gun-violence prevention groups joined together at the Harvey Milk Promenade Park on Dec. 14 to speak out for safer communities, calling for action to prevent further gun violence in local communities and in remembrance of gun fatalities in Long Beach and the state, as well as over 30,000 nationwide. Marchers walked from Drake Park, 951 Maine Ave., to a vigil at Harvey Milk Promenade Park, 212 E Third St.
