This holiday season, nothing could be more exciting than receiving the gift of flight. And that’s exactly why a gift certificate from the California Flight Center should be on the top of your list. Give someone you love a chance to experience a real flight lesson for only $129.
California Flight Center was formed in 2001 with a single airplane and the desire to teach people how to fly. Over the years, the company’s goal has remained the same— to provide safe and enjoyable flying in brand new, G1000-equipped Cessna aircraft, aerobatic aircraft and brand new Schweizer 300CBI helicopters.
With its friendly and knowledgeable staff, headed by California Flight Center president Keith W. Furlong, they have the largest fleet of all brand-new Cessna aircraft in the area. “We will schedule you with one of our highly experienced instructors in a brand-new Cessna 172SG1000,” said operations manager Tracy Christie. “After getting to know the aircraft a little bit, you will then go up and fly for about an hour. You get to be at the controls, maneuvering the aircraft on your own.”
After landing safely, they will log the time for you in a logbook. You can also bring along a guest to sit in the backseat, at no extra charge.
California Flight Center’s enthusiasm for flying doesn’t just stop with lessons. The planes are also available for rental. Use one of their aircrafts for family vacations, business trips, or even just for an escape from the daunting task of navigating the Southland freeways. Trips to Mexico and Canada are no problem.
California Flight Center, located at 2830 East Wardlow Road, is open from 8am to 6pm, seven days a week. For more information, call (562) 490-2662 or visit them online at www.cali forniaflightcenter.com.
