An unidentified man died, possibly as a result of being struck by a vehicle, and police are seeking the public’s help in providing information.
On Thursday, Feb. 2, at approximately 3am, officers from the Long Beach Police Department were flagged down regarding a possible person down in the roadway at Anaheim Street and the 710 Freeway.
Upon arrival to the location, officers found a male adult pedestrian in the westbound lanes of Anaheim Street at the 710 Freeway.
He was unresponsive and not breathing.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and determined him deceased.
The unidentified man’s identity will be determined by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
There is no suspect information at this time.
