Long Beach Police Department searching for suspect in April 19 murder

Based on information gathered through the ongoing investigation, detectives believe the shooting occurred because of a personal conflict.
The suspect and his vehicle have been identified as follows:
Name— Jason Daniels
Age— 33
City— Long Beach
Height— 5’11”
Weight— Approximately 170 lbs
Hair— Black, recently long and worn in a ponytail
Facial hair— Full beard
Vehicle— 2002 black Dodge Durango (with a California personalized license plate with “1RAVON” ) with damage to the passenger side and distinctive 22-inch rims

On Wednesday, April 19, at approximately 9pm, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) were dispatched to a possible shooting in the 500 block of Cherry Avenue that resulted in the death of a male adult.
Arriving officers located a man who had sustained a gunshot injury. Long Beach Fire Department personnel transported the victim, in critical but stable condition, to a local hospital. The male adult suspect fled before officers arrived. The incident does not appear to be random.
On April 20, 2017, police were notified that the victim had succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, and a no-bail warrant has been issued for his arrest. Those who know of his whereabouts are asked to call 9-1-1 and not attempt to approach him.
