LB Municipal Band playing six weeks of free concerts this summer

The Long Beach Municipal Band, the longest-running municipal band in the country, on June 27 began its 108th season of free outdoor summer concerts in local parks. Each week of the season will focus on a different theme.

The website 100daysofsummer.org has hundreds of ideas for recreational activities that do not cost a lot of money or require traveling far.
