The Friends Of Signal Hill Cultural Arts (FOSHCA) announce their first event for local artists and artisans. Dubbed “Show and Sell” it will take place Saturday, Oct. 13, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community Center in Signal Hill (Hill Street at Cherry Avenue). Artists and crafters will be invited to show their wares, with free admission to the public.
Local artists and vendors will be chosen to participate in this inaugural cultural event. Application forms for artist consideration will be available soon and announcement of selection participating artists will be made in September.
FOSHCA was established in 1996 as a nonprofit corporation and serves as the fund raising committee responsible for securing donations for cultural arts programs such as public murals, family art workshops, Artist of the Quarter exhibitions, scholarships and the Concerts in the Park Summer Series.
Show and Sell is designed as a venue for artists and art lovers alike to savor a variety of great Southern California talent.
