The Wrigley Association will host a candidate forum for Long Beach 7th-district candidates at its March 5 meeting. According to the neighborhood association, all five candidates have confirmed their attendance for the event: Oscar Delacruz, Jared Milrad, Chris Sereno, Kevin Shin and Roberto Uranga. Candidates’ opening statements will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Gavin McKiernan, president of the Long Beach Neighborhood Foundation, will serve as the moderator. The meeting will take place at Veterans Park Social Hall, 101 E. 28th St. on Monday, March 5 from 7pm to 8:30pm. United States Congressmember Nanette Diaz Barragán and Long Beach Vice Mayor Rex Richardson have endorsed Uduak-Joe Ntuk, a professor at Long Beach State and a Long Beach Community College (LBCC) commissioner, for the Long Beach Community College District Board of Trustees, according to the candidate.
