Kudos to the Signal
On behalf of the Signal Hill City Council, I would like to congratulate the Signal Tribune on the great edition commemorating the City’s 85th anniversary. The photos and interviews brought back a lot of memories for our residents and businesses. Like prior anniversary issues, these are keepsake items that I know your readers appreciate.
The Council would also like to send its congratulations on being recognized by the California Small Business Association and being named Small Business of the Year by the 27th Senatorial District. For your readers who may not know, the 27th Senate District encompasses the cities of Artesia, Avalon, Bellflower, Cerritos, Downey, Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood, Long Beach, Lynwood, Paramount, Signal Hill, and South Gate. To be named as Small Business of the Year in this large area is recognition of your commitment to keep your readers, especially Signal Hill residents and businesses, informed of local issues and events.
The City of Signal Hill truly appreciates the quality and accurate reporting of local events. The services you provide are vital to the City and your recognition as Small Business of the Year is well deserved.

Signal Hill Mayor
