LBPD seeks public’s help with locating sexual assault suspect

The Long Beach Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for the sexual assault of a 17-year-old female that occurred on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 2am in the area of 2nd Street and Livingston Drive.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, in his late 20s, 5’7″ , 190 lbs., short dark hair (one inch in length), round face, bushy eyebrows, moustache, and dark skin. He was last seen wearing a green and blue plaid button-down shirt, a light-blue or white undershirt, dark denim jeans, and brown/white Vans-style skater shoes. He is also described as a cigarette smoker.
The female victim was walking home and was met by the suspect near 2nd Street and Livingston Drive. The suspect coerced the victim into an alley and eventually led her into an alcove off of the alleyway. Shortly thereafter, the suspect physically and sexually assaulted her. The suspect was last seen walking westbound on Shaw Street from Quincy Avenue.
