Starting this January, Los Cerritos Elementary School, in conjunction with Savior Faire Language School, will begin offering Mandarin classes to all elementary age children. The course kicks off with a demonstration class on Friday, Jan. 9 at 2:45pm, and will be held regularly on Tuesdays from Jan. 19-Mar. 23 at the Los Cerritos School Library, 515 San Antonio Dr. Classes for kindergarten through second graders are from 2:35-3:35pm and cost $170; classes for third through fifth graders are from 4-5:30pm and cost $190.
