Edward L. McCain, III has been selected as Elk of the Month for January at the Bellflower/Long Beach Elks Lodge #888. McCain was born Dec. 17, 1966, in Lakewood. He grew up in the Garden Grove area, and, after high school, he entered into an apprenticeship for plumbing. He later received his journeyman license for the State of California. After being initiated into Lodge #888, he helped install a new water heater and barbecue grill, as well as helping to remodel the lodge’s bar area.
