The Garage Theatre’s 2010 season opener will be An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein, a lesser known work by the nationally appreciated artist. Silverstein’s 2002 play is about the curious, deranged and maniacal characters of our American landscape, including: a blind hobo singing the blues with his talking dog; a troubled couple working out their familial differences through role-play; and the occupants of a strange laundromat.
An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein will run Friday, Feb. 26 through Saturday, March 27 at 8pm. The Garage Theatre is located at 251 E. 7th St.
General admission is $18; students, teachers and seniors $15. Admission for opening and closing nights is $20 (reception included).
