Share in the “aloha spirit” at Hawaii Day on Saturday, February 27, from 10:30am to 3pm at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium (CMA), 3720 Stephen M. White Drive, San Pedro. There will be live Hawaiian entertainment, including five-time Grammy-winning musician Daniel Ho and hula dancing, arts, crafts, and fresh leis.
Hawaii Day kicks off a seven-week promotion that will highlight marine issues shared by Southern California and Hawaii, including the Pacific Ocean’s coral ecosystems, environmental sustainability and marine sanctuaries. From February 27 to April 16, CMA visitors can also enter to win a trip to the island of Oahu. The trip includes roundtrip airfare for a family of four from Los Angeles to Honolulu, 3 nights’ accommodations at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa and admission to the Waikiki Aquarium.
