Walk With Sally, a non-profit organization committed to providing mentorship programs to children of parents and siblings with cancer, had a hands-on self-defense training day at the 360 Combat Club in Signal Hill on Saturday, February 27. This free event was one of Walk With Sally’s many annual friendship-building activities for local children living with or losing a parent or sibling to cancer.
“A crucial aspect to keeping the children happy is to keep them safe,” said Nick Arquette, founder of Walk With Sally. “Teaching basic self-defense skills to both kids and their parents is a key step to ensuring their safety.”
