For The Child, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help children and their families recover from the trauma of abuse, recently installed their 2007-08 board of directors.
Nancy Kimber will serve a second term as president. Bill Gailey, chairman of Gailey and Associates is the vice-president. Kent Huber, owner of Professional Tax and Financial Services will serve as treasurer. Al Weingartner, computer consultant, is secretary.
James Johnson, Long Beach senior policy advisor and Braden Phillips, administration bureau chief for the Long Beach Police Department, are new board members.
Dr. Galal Gough, Dr. Kim Armstrong of Boeing, Robert Robinson, a trial attorney for Bowman and Brooke LLP, Sean Hitchcock, president of 2H Consruction, Political Consultant Stephanie Daily Smith and For The Child’s executive director, Dr. Michele Winterstein, complete the 2007-2008 board.
