Public invited to learn about legacy of Tuskegee Airmen

The public is invited to a presentation about the experiences of the original Tuskegee Airmen and the legacy they left to African-American aviators. Tuskegee Airmen representatives will be joined by some of the young pilots of the Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum, who will share why the Tuskegee Airmen are their inspiration.

The Tuskegee Airmens’ heroic efforts during World War II led to the eventual end of racial segregation in the military forces.
“The Tuskegee Airmen Experience” will be presented Saturday, June 5 from 1pm to 3pm at the Carson Community Center, 801 E. Carson St. Admission is free.
