This Thursday, June 17, residents who receive their COVID-19 vaccine at the Aquarium of the Pacific will receive free admission afterwards.
The “Sharks for Shots” campaign is the latest incentive offered by the City of Long Beach to encourage individuals to get vaccinated against COVD-19. The vaccination clinic will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Aquarium’s outdoor plaza.
“We continue to offer the COVID-19 vaccine at various sites throughout the city and this clinic provides a great opportunity to see sharks too,” Mayor Robert Garcia said. “We appreciate the Aquarium of the Pacific for partnering with us to motivate people to get vaccinated.”
Individuals who receive their first dose of the vaccine will receive free admission for themselves and one guest on Thursday night. Complimentary parking is available.
